What's New!

So much to talk about! Ok, the site is now data driven - meaning it should load pages MUCH faster. Also, with all future submitted photos, they will have your pet's name used as a search term so you will be more easily able to find them. For the current photos that were transferred over, only a few had the names brought with them. The process was long and with over 3000 photos we were simply not able to add them. However, if there is no specific section for your pet, then they just may already be a search term. (Example: if you have a Shiba Inu dog, type in shiba inu and it should bring up all that breed of dog) We apologize if not everyone is currently searchable, but for the future, we hope to make it that way.

UPDATE! **Delayed sending and reminders**: Is currently now working! The system has been tested several times and you can now send your cards on a different date than when you make them. So, if you visit the site on Feb 12, you can have your Valentine's cards delivered on the 14th!

Membership is FREE, but not required to send cards. However, we have always had, and still have the policy of ANIMALS ONLY. By signing up for a free membership, you will be given the option to have your own member's album. As long as these photos don't interfere with the current database (remember, we are still testing) you will be able to load your family pet and people pictures here and use them as cards. Rules, rules, and more rules still apply. This is a family site and family run, therefore all photos must be of a "G" nature and anything that is not related to animals or pets will be allowed. This is NOT a storage facility for your vacations, porn stash or anything other than pet or animal postcards. A violation of this policy will result in the album being deleted and your membership being terminated. This is NOT opening to anyone's interpretation other than Silly Chilly's. If there are too many violations of this area, then the album feature will be disabled and the ability to save and send family and pet pictures will be forever removed and ruined for everyone else. So please, do it right and use common sense.

Submitting photos: Yes, send us your animal pictures for all to use. Remember, NO HUMANS! The use of photos is the sole discretion of Silly Chilly's Pet Postcards, and simply submitting them does not guarantee their use. Quality will forever be a HUGE factor, so please only submit quality pictures. If they are too small or too grainy or blurry, please don't bother. The files types that are acceptable are .jpg, .tif and .bmp - no files over 3mb will be accepted. Files with a pixel size smaller than 400px in any direction (vertical or horizontal) will not be used. Don't forget to include your pets name for the search engine! Any pictures that have a questionable copyright will automatically be discarded, so please make sure you are sending your photos and not lifting someone else's from the internet and sending those.

Newsletter: When you sign up for membership, you will be given the option of getting a newsletter. We hope to put out update information on an occasional basis. Your information will NOT be shared with any other site or business and you will NOT be flooded with junk from this site. The sole purpose of the news letter will be to let you know when there have been any major updates or more than 10 new cards added to the site.

Feedback: On the main card site there is a link for feedback. Should you encounter any issues or problems, please let us know. This is an ongoing procedure and your input is important. This "What's New" page will be updated from time to time to reflect new information and changes.
